myblog.arts upgrade

An upgrade of this site will take place on the afternoon of Thursday 23rd of June 2011, from around 1pm. The service will be unavailable for some hours while the work takes place. Thanks for your patience!

I’m pleased to say that we’re moving the myblog.arts service to a bigger and better web server. This means that more UAL students and staff will be able to start using the service. As part of the migration we will also be updating the service to the most recent versions of WordPress and Buddypress. We will also add some theme and plugin updates in the coming weeks.

The service has been very popular even though it has only been open to a test group of users, and it’s exciting to take it beyond the pilot stage. We’re looking forward to seeing lots more interesting content and innovative uses of the service appearing here in future.
