Google Maps and Twitter Feeds

A couple of new features are now available on myblog.arts.

Google Maps
There’s a new button to insert a Google Map into your post. See below:

Click on the ‘G’ button when creating a new post. A window will open with options to do a search for your map location (use the ‘Center Point’ box). Here’s one for High Holborn (I had to set the zoom level to about 16):

The map will only display when you actually view the post – the edit page will just display a code tag.

Twitter Feed
There’s also a new widget for displaying Twitter Feeds. In your Dashboard, look in Appearance -> Widgets. Drag the Twitter widget onto your sidebar to activate it.
