For backup purposes I’ve downloaded all my posts as an xml file. Is it possible to backup (download) the media library as well? thanks!
Hi Silvia,
The way the export / import works is that when importing the xml file to another instance of WordPress, the media files are downloaded automatically from the old site, as long as it still exists.
If you need a local copy of your media files, please send me a personal message.
